Botanical Artistry & Landscapes Botanical Artistry & Landscapes is a group for people who are botanical and landscape photographers to share their photos with an admiring audience.

Botanical Artists This group is about Botanical Art. It's not just about painting pretty flowers. A botanical artists combines scientific accuracy with aesthetically pleasing presentation. Only artists (all levels) can join this group and take part in our discussions. In this group, botanical artists can show their work, join the discussions and challenges. This group is by invitation only. Nice compliments are welcome of course but giving suggestions and advice is what we really want to encourage too. Oh and of course the place where you can ask questions. If you know an artist that is not a member yet, don't hesitate to ask him/her to join us.

Botanical Society of America (BSA) The Botanical Society of America (BSA), founded in 1893, is a not-for-profit membership society whose mission is to promote BOTANY, the field of basic science dealing with the study and inquiry into the form, function, development, diversity, reproduction, evolution, and uses of plants and their interactions within the biosphere. Here on Flickr, we'd like to share images showing the amazing, fascinating and sometimes bizarre world of plants and the botanical sciences.

Botanists go to the most amazing places on the planet! You see all of the world's incredible plants. You have some fascinating images—from the cellular level through to those of entire ecosystems.

Show us where you've been, what you do and things you see. We want your help in building a community that shares the very best botanical images! Our aim is to provide you with the opportunity to place the "best of the best" into the Botanical Society of America's online image collection and in the Plant Science Bulletin. When you submit your photos, please follow these guidelines.

  • The Botanical Society of America is a professional scientific society. As such we ask that you please provide a brief paragraph explaining your submissions to a non-professional audience.
  • Please use scientific names where appropriate.
  • Please take the time to explain botanical terms.
